However, we do not recommend loading the dimmer to its maximum specification. Typically, the dimmer is used to turn the power of lamps or heating elements on and off. It can also be used in applications such as fans, pumps, and air purifiers.
Recently, dimmers have become a popular choice for smart home systems. For example, if you want to gently adjust the brightness, a dimmer allows you to switch lamps on and off slowly, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Dimmers are particularly effective with filament lamps. While they are less stable at low brightness levels with LED lamps, they work reliably at moderate and high brightness levels. It's important to note that fluorescent lamps (gas discharge lamps) are not dimmable.
### Technical aspects
The dimmer's power section is isolated from the control section to eliminate the possibility of high-current interruptions in the microcontroller. The dimmer's logic level is tolerant to 5V and 3.3V, allowing microcontrollers to be easily connected.
The `RBDdimmer.h` library is used to control the dimmer with an Arduino. This library utilizes external interrupts and process time interrupts, simplifying programming and allowing more processing time for the main code. This allows multiple dimmers to be controlled from a single microcontroller.

### Connecting the dimmer

Der 40AX2 Dual Way ESC ist ein leistungsstarker 2-in-1 elektronischer Geschwindigkeitsregler (ESC) für zwei gebürstete Gleichstrommotoren. Er wurde speziell für RC-Panzer, Kettenfahrzeuge, Boote, Roboter sowie Differentialantriebe entwickelt und ermöglicht eine präzise Vorwärts-/Rückwärtssteuerung beider Motoren.
Durch die integrierte Mixed-Control-Funktion werden Gas- und Lenkbefehle automatisch gemischt. Dadurch lassen sich Kettenfahrzeuge oder Differentialantriebe bereits mit einer normalen RC-Fernsteuerung komfortabel steuern.
Über zwei Jumper können verschiedene Betriebsarten und die Bremsfunktion ohne Programmierkarte eingestellt werden.
Der integrierte 5V-BEC-Ausgang versorgt Empfänger und Servos direkt mit Spannung. Umfangreiche Schutzfunktionen wie Failsafe, Unterspannungsschutz und Überhitzungsschutz sorgen für einen sicheren und zuverlässigen Betrieb.

Der DTT433-RF besteht aus zwei Einheiten: einem Sender (DTT433-TX) und einem Empfänger (DTT433-RX). Das System ermöglicht die kabellose Übertragung von bis zu vier analogen 0–10V-Signalen über eine Entfernung von bis zu 2.000 Metern – absolut zuverlässig, störungsarm und mit hoher Präzision.
Durch die robuste 2,4-GHz-Funktechnologie (NRF24L01-Kompatibel) ist das Set ideal, wenn analoge Mess- oder Steuersignale über große Entfernungen, ohne Kabeltrassen oder in schwer zugänglichen Bereichen übertragen werden müssen.
Jedes Adapter-Paar arbeitet über einen eigenen Funkkanal. Dadurch können bis zu 125 Paare gleichzeitig im selben Raum betrieben werden – ohne Interferenzen.
